Brandy Jones-Thomas (she/her)

IMPACT Trainer

Brandy Jones-Thomas is a licensed marriage and family therapist and

educator. Brandy has worked in community based agencies providing; therapy services, case management, crisis intervention and trauma informed care to community. Brandy has worked as a professor and academic, career counselor for the past 5 years.

Currently, Brandy teaches Social Work
and Human services at a local college. Brandy also provides extensive services to underserved populations including Veterans, Trauma victims, victims of crime, LGBTQ+ active duty members, veterans and communities of color in her Private Practice. Brandy
also works in collaboration with local Non-profits to advocate for equity in services provided to marginalized populations. Brandy is also a clinical supervisor and CEO of a local Non-profit agency and has specialized training in cultural/urban trauma and diversity issues that impact communities.

Danielle Muñoz (she/her)

IMPACT Trainer

Danielle Muñoz is a licensed marriage and family therapist, serving communities including LGBTQ+, foster youth, immigrants, veterans, college students, and individuals with disabilities. Her experience includes providing crisis services, case management, group, individual and family therapy, providing trauma informed care, conducting threat assessments, and developing basic needs programs. Danielle works at a local university, coordinating their basic needs programs, crisis services, and behavioral intervention team. She presents locally and nationally on mindful crisis response and post-crisis self-care, and developed programs locally that address mental health recidivism in local emergency rooms, and an emergency housing program for college students. Danielle also volunteers her time at a local agency that specializes in providing treatment to members of the LGTBQ+ community at low-cost, and is a co-host of a podcast that highlights mental health issues in the Latinx community.

Sara Meadows (she/her)

IMPACT Trainer

Sara Meadows, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Her experience includes working with adults, children and families in the Sacramento area since 2001, providing mental health

and integrated medical care. Sara has a particular focus on the connection between mind and body as it relates to trauma, and has provided trauma informed treatment in a variety
of settings including outpatient mental health clinics, primarily serving Medi-Cal recipients. She currently oversees clinical services at a local clinic, which serves a large percentage of refugee, immigrant and bilingual families from low-income backgrounds. She also
supervises clinicians, placing an emphasis on cultural competency, humility and providing effective services to people of all backgrounds.
